In the centre of London, last week, I did a branding shoot with this beautiful soul.
She picked this ridiculously gorgeous location, Peggy Porschen Cakes. The overload of pink, the flowers, the cutest little tables outdoors, the tourists with cameras standing in front of its entrance to grab memories of this place made it the perfect spot. Especially the delivery guy who made us move table.
Let me explain.
We grabbed coffee before we started and were fully immersed into our conversation when I found my mind wondering for a few seconds (ps: it happens a lot!). I was looking at Maxeen across the table as she was talking to me and I heard the thought “I would love to have some of the flowers around her when we start shooting, that would make such a pretty portrait”. Within 30 seconds from my thought, a delivery guy came and stood in front of us asking us to move table as we were apparently obstructing his back entrance for deliveries. No problem, we got up hoping to still be able to sit outside.
Little did we know, there was a free table waiting for us just next to the fake flower plant by the entrance. This is perfect, just as I asked! I cannot take credits for picking the spot, I have got to thank the Universe for it!
We started our shoot not long after and it looked a little bit like this…
