It goes without saying that I LOVE engagement sessions, or pre-wedding sessions, however you like to call them.
I am often asked what are the benefits to doing one and I always say…so many! Beside the fact that they are so much fun, it is a very great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, especially if you “don’t like having your pictures taken”. It allows us time to get to know each other and walk around for a couple of hours (we won’t have this long on our own on the wedding day!), for you to have a feel of how it all works and what happens, so that on the on the wedding day you will already know what to expect and you will feel even more relaxed.
I love it when couples pick the location for their engagement session, it adds a personal touch to the shoot and makes it that extra special. I always say that it could be somewhere that means something to you or simply somewhere you both just really like!
Gemma and Glen decided to have their session at Trent Park in London. We walked, we chatted, we laughed and we stopped in a few spots to take some images.
Below just a selection of some of my favourites 🙂
